    Screen at onboarding

    Every new customer, affiliate, supplier or payment partner is checked before the relationship starts, via API or in batches.

    Rescreen continuously

    The customer base is checked again whenever the lists change, so a customer who becomes sanctioned or exposed after onboarding is flagged without waiting for the next periodic review.

    Resolve and file

    Analysts confirm or dismiss each match. Cases that need more become a due diligence report with source, date and the person responsible for the conclusion.

Every match comes with its evidence.

A name match alone is not a finding. Each hit shows the list or source, the fields that matched and how strong the match is, so the analyst can tell a namesake from the real person and record why.

What is sanctions and PEP screening?

It is checking customers and counterparties against official sanctions lists and lists of politically exposed persons. The goal is to know who you are dealing with before money moves, and to keep checking as the lists change.

How do you handle false positives from name matches?

Each match shows which fields matched, such as name, date of birth or nationality, and how strong the match is. The analyst confirms or dismisses it, and the reason is recorded with the decision.

What is adverse media screening?

It searches news and public sources for links between a person or company and financial crime, fraud, corruption or similar risks. Results come with the source and the date, so the analyst can judge relevance and the file shows what was found.

Do you run KYB and beneficial ownership checks?
